Why do we look for answers outside of ourselves when we have it all inside of us?
Getting empowered, becoming more aware of oneself, having more knowledge on how to process our own stuff in order to reach mastery, we still at times forget to listen within and trust our selves. Instead of remembering that we don’t really need any other guru than ourselves we still tend to go on the outside and hand our power over to others.
We can get valuable information, inspiration and knowledge from others, but we don’t have to buy into anything and everything. With both feet on the ground and a great portion of discernment we can stand in our own power, humbly being our own guru, leading our lives as the example we wish to see in the world.
The power we have as individuals is often forgotten or even unknown to many. It’s time to remember who we are and take our power back fully to be the guru we all are.
In living light and love <3
So many spiritual people have a desire to be “special” and a need to feel they are a “chosen one”.
Chosen to be whatever it might be, but most often chosen to be something more than anyone else, to be someone special.
Why is that? And what is that?
To me it’s just a lower ego desire. Something within me that isn’t happy and satisfied with just being who I am. A part of me that believes I am not good enough as I am, that I need to be “more” to be accepted and loved.
Why is it so hard to just love ourselves just the way we are and be happy with that? As I see it it is when we are able to accept all parts of ourselves – including the most “ugly” ones – that we find peace with ourselves. Peace and compassion which enables us to love ourselves just the way we are. Seeing and accepting that we are already special just the way we are. All of us.
When we get to that point we will not have to put any effort in finding that specialness outside of ourselves, but on the inside which also empowers us as individuals, because we don’t have to rely on someone else outside of us. It is all inside of us.
The part of being “a chosen one” is also interesting when you look on it. We are all unique with different gifts and talents and we all have a role to play in the whole scenery where our uniqueness fits perfect even if it isn’t always obvious to us and it may take a while to find that role. In that sense we are all chosen to play our different roles. No one is better than the other either. We are all needed and we are all perfect and beautiful.
We should also remember that we have all chosen to be here and be who we are before we incarnated. So in that sense we are all indeed chosen. Chosen by ourselves – not by anyone else. Which is also a view to consider when you wish to stay empowered within yourself. 🙂
